Children’s Classroom, Meeting & Tutor Rooms, Pavilion

A Children’s Classroom, Meeting Room, Tutor Room, and Pavilion are available for public use with reservation. Security cameras monitor all spaces.

The Children’s Classroom is stocked with a rotation of toys for preschool to elementary-age children. A child-size table and six chairs are available with a plush reading chair. A rotation of seasonal books and themed coloring/activity sheets are available. An art cart with basic craft supplies is included in the space. A baby gate secures the classroom so young children can play freely without wandering into the library space. Groups of more than one family are encouraged to call ahead to ensure the space is available.

The Meeting Room has four six-foot tables available with 30 folding chairs. There is a Smart TV with Internet access. A DVD player is available upon request. Restrooms are located across the hallway.

The Tutor Room is located opposite the Children’s Libary and Circulation Desk. The room is equipped with one five-foot table and four chairs. There is a desk with a Zoom-enabled computer (including webcam, microphone, and speaker) and an attached black and white printer. The computer includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Internet access. Basic office supplies are available for use. There is no door and the history room is adjoining.

The library Pavilion is set up with three picnic tables, six benches, a square table, and six chairs. There is electricity provided by one outlet and lighting.

A signed form must be on file. Reservations are for educational, cultural, governmental, charitable, forums, and presentations only. Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Available open hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am-4:30pm. Tuesday &Thursday 10:00am-5:30pm. Saturday 10:00am-12:30pm.

Library events are given priority over outside events. Contact the library staff via phone call at 269-467-6289 or email ntlibrarycirculation@gmail.com to reserve. This Application is available to email or fax to 269-467-4422. Submission of an application does not reserve a room; you must have communication with a library staff member via phone call or email as confirmation once your form is submitted.
